Farm House Venice

Zelarino in the shadow of the Venetian lagoon is where Farm House Venice is born.
An interesting project that is devised in different part, a little hospitality resort “Frutti e Fiori”, two restaurants “Il Segnavento” and “Ai Brillanti” and last but not least the production part of “Farm House”.
Born from zero in the early 90s when the Bucci’s family decided to move from the city to the countryside. After the departure from the city they’ve started with buying a private house and then thanks to some opportunities they’ve bought the agricultural land around the house. From that moment they’ve decided to start the farm; the first challenge was breading Quarter Horses that is a family passion. With time they added  also some “ordinary” chicken to the farm, that they revealed to have some problems; so they’ve decided to focus on the breading of indigenous poultry races. And then they’ve added also 2 different breeds of sheep and porks.
The farm works in a sustainable way. Sustainability is not only only applied at  animals and cultivations but is also applied to the human work and time of life.

Since 2005, thanks fo the passion of the family for gastronomy they’ve added to the project their first restaurant “Al Segnavento”. This place represents the space where the raw products coming from the farm (meat, vegetables, etc).. are processed to be brought at their best in a conscientious way. This enable them to receive the Michelin plate.

In the years the family kept expanding the farm also to an hospitality side “fiori e frutti” and another little restaurant “agriosteria Ai Brillanti” where you’ll find traditional and simple dishes.
“Fiori e Frutti” is located inside an old traditional Venetian barn; decorated in a elegant way, you’ll find at the ground floor some rooms where guest can share time in a warm and cozy atmosphere or relax in one of the 14 rooms of the resort. A familiar way of doing, passion for the hospitality and nature of Bucci’s family makes Farm House Venice a unique and pleasant discovery in the Venetian territory.
