Reale

Castel di Sangro, a little city in the middle of the mountains in the heart of Abruzzo. It’s here that Niko Romito and his sister Cristiana has decided to build up their hospitality home.
Casadonna, born from a very old monastery it’s a mix of old and modern design where the line that connects everything is purity. It’s here inside Casadonna that we find Reale the three star Michelin restaurant where chef Niko Romito brings his culinary vision.
Entering the restaurant is an ode purity, art and traditions, white walls with some art paintings of Ettore Spalletti; an old pavement made with local stones and the tables dressed with a white tablecloth.

A warm feeling that is enhanced by the big windows that overlook the garden and the nature around Casadonna.
Romito’s kitchen is an ode to purity, simplicity and clean flavors. While techniques and study are the base here the show is not of techniques but a show of taste.

“Reale, a place of simplicity, purity and traditions mixed by the head and hands of chef Niko Romito that make this place unique.”

Working on single ingredients, working on association of flavors what will surprise you is how Romito’s kitchen is able to touch traditional flavors and emotions starting from something completely different.
A kitchen full of mind, techniques and emotions; the emotions of what the chef loves. Take your trip to Abruzzo, book a table to Reale, enter the restaurant leave the welcoming and smiling service team, leaded by Cristiana Romito, bring you into the world of Niko; a world made of taste, study, science but always infused by emotions and traditions. Fall from a broccoli leaves where you’ll fined the essence of Niko’s cuisine to the tradition of bread and to a game of techniques and remind of emotional traditions of a roast escarole. Leave your mind free, take your seat and let the world of Reale infuse you with simplicity and emotions.
